Action Transportation

I recently completed a web commercial for a client of mine. Given the name “Action” Transportation, I thought it would be fun to present their company in the form of an animated comic book with the owners as superheroes. Toon shading and edge rendering were the perfect tools to get that “inky” look. The implementation was a combination of Blender and After Effects. The scenes were animated and rendered in Blender with toon shading. Additionally I overlaid a tweaked edge render layer in the Blender node compositor. The scenes were composited onto the pages using After Effects.
